Senate President Godswill Akpabio has praised former President Muhammadu Buhari as a leader who responsibly managed Nigeria’s treasury.
Speaking at an expanded Federal Executive Council meeting in held in Buhari’s honour, Akpabio stated that even Buhari’s critics would acknowledge that he did not embezzle public funds during his tenure.
As he described Buhari as a tough, patriotic leader who never ignored responsibility or betrayed Nigeria’s interests.
