South Africa’s women’s team, Banyana Banyana, has advanced to the semi-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after a 4-1 penalty shootout win over Senegal.

Also, Nigeria secured their spot by defeating Zambia 5-0, maintaining an unbeaten record.

So far, the semi-final will feature Nigeria versus South Africa, their first meeting since 2022 when South Africa won 2-1 in Morocco.

On the other hand, the semi-final games will also see Ghana’s Black Queens face Morocco, the tournament hosts.
