Governor Hope Uzodimma has inaugurated a 15-member Imo State Boundary Committee aimed at resolving boundary disputes and restoring peace in affected communities.

Led by Deputy Governor Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, the committee has been tasked with legally addressing boundary issues to promote stability and prosperity within the state.

The governor on emphasizing the importance of peaceful environments for development,  urged the committee to diligently work toward resolving disputes.

On the other hand, Deputy Governor Ekomaru has expressed gratitude for the appointment,  with commitment to adding value to Imo State through their efforts. The committee includes key government officials, traditional rulers, security personnel, and other stakeholders, with the inauguration attended by top state officials and traditional leaders.
