Central African Republic (CAR) will hold general elections on December 28, 2025, including presidential, parliamentary, regional, and municipal votes.

 

Inclusively, President Faustin Archange Touadera, is seeking a controversial third term, as he announced his candidacy amid ongoing security improvements in a fragile overall situation.

 

In the meantime, some Supporters have praised him for restoring stability, while critics fear his extended rule could hinder democratic progress.
