Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) highlighted federal government loans and grants as key tools to enhance export trade during a forum in Owerri.

 

NEPC’s Imo Coordinator, Anthony Ajuruchi encouraged exporters to utilize these financial aids to grow their businesses and compete globally. Austin Ikeh from Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending. (NIRSAL )emphasized the forum’s role in connecting value chain actors and noted collaboration with the Nigeria Export Import Bank to support farmers and exporters, urging them to obtain necessary certifications.

 

Meanwhile Freeman Godwin, pointed out poor airline management of goods as a major issue, causing losses due to inadequate preservation, and stressed the need for improvements to protect exporters’ investments.
