Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to begin its direct fuel distribution soon, with 1,000 CNG-powered trucks already arrived in Nigeria, out of an expected 4,000.

The remaining trucks are arriving gradually, with all expected to be in Nigeria by the end of September, despite logistical challenges in China and shipping delays.

While the initial distribution will target Lagos and the South-West before expanding nationwide, the initiative aims to reduce fuel logistics costs, improve energy efficiency, and support Nigeria’s economic growth, while potentially creating over 15,000 jobs and reducing smuggling.
