Chinese President Xi Jinping and Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced the elevation of their bilateral relations to an all-weather community with a shared future during Mnangagwa’s visit to China.
The leaders discussed strengthening cooperation under the “five-star ironclad” framework, commemorated historical ties, and emphasized the importance of safeguarding peace, opposing hegemonic acts, and promoting justice in the international order.
Xi highlighted the deepening friendship between China and Zimbabwe, marking 45 years of diplomatic relations, while Mnangagwa praised China’s World War II commemorations and military parade, underscoring their significance in inspiring resilience and international solidarity.
