National Sports Commission has reaffirmed its support for Team Nigeria ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, scheduled for September 13-21.
The NSC urged athletes to perform their best and bring honor to Nigeria, with officials expressing confidence in their determination to achieve podium finishes. The 15-member team, led by Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume, includes experienced and emerging athletes competing across various track and field events.
NSC Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko further emphasized Nigeria’s commitment to success in athletics and assured continued support throughout the competition.
