President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on September 16, 2025, to resume official duties, cutting short his vacation in France and the UK, which began on September 4.
During his Paris visit, he met with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss bilateral cooperation. This marks his seventh trip to Paris since May 2023. In 2025, Tinubu has taken 15 international trips across 11 countries, including Ghana, UAE, Tanzania, Ethiopia, France, UK, Vatican City, Saint Lucia, Brazil, Japan, and a second UAE visit.
These trips involved summits, bilateral engagements, and inaugurations, focusing on trade, energy, security, climate, and investment. Notably, Nigeria reportedly met its 2025 revenue target in August.
