President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja on Tuesday evening after ending an initially planned 10-day trip to Paris and London. His aircraft landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 6:50 pm local time.

While President Tinubu, who departed Nigeria on September 4, was expected to stay in Europe longer, no official reason has been given for cutting short the trip.

His return coincides with the end of a six-month emergency rule in Rivers State. Since January 2025, Tinubu has made 15 foreign trips, often combining official duties with rest.
