National Association of Agricultural Development Initiatives (NAADI) have expressed  commitment on building robust governance and operational standards for youth agricultural groups in Nigeria’s South-South region to enhance access to funding from government, development partners, and international organizations.

NAADI pledge to  collaborate with expos and institutions to train youths in cooperative management, financial accountability, and global best practices, partnering with the Federation of Agricultural Communities of Nigeria to boost youth participation in agriculture, a vital sector for Nigeria’s economy.

meanwhile The Central Bank of Nigeria supports this through the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme, providing loans up to ₦1 million with a 75% guarantee to reduce lending risks and offering repayment flexibility.

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Agriculture lauded the Youth in Agriculture programme’s achievements and pledged continued support under the ARISE Agenda, emphasizing timely input requests.
