Trial of Kogi Central senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on alleged cybercrime charges against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ex-Governor Yahaya Bello will begin today September 22, 2025, at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Charged with six counts, she was arraigned in June and pleaded not guilty. The case involves accusations that Natasha made false claims via electronic means, including alleging a conspiracy to assassinate her by Akpabio and Bello.
While she was granted bail on self-recognition, her trial will be overseen by Justice Mohammed Umar, with the prosecution led by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
