Imo State government, has demolished a notorious criminal hideout in Ama Hausa, Owerri, identified as a hub for drug peddling, gunrunning, and other illicit activities.
The operation which was supervised by Special Adviser on Monitoring and Compliance, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri
followed by surveillance and a tip-off from a citizen.
Suspects were arrested, and the government reiterated its zero-tolerance policy on crime, urging community leaders to report suspicious activities. The Hausa community praised the action, noting it enhances safety and removes criminal elements tarnishing their reputation.
