Federal Government has declared Wednesday, October 1, as a public holiday to celebrate Nigeria’s 65th independence anniversary.
Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement signed by Permanent Secretary Magdalene Ajani, congratulated Nigerians on the milestone and urged them to uphold patriotism, unity, and resilience.
He also called on citizens to trust in President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, aiming for national rebirth, economic growth, and shared prosperity. The minister emphasized that collective effort will continue to drive Nigeria’s progress in peace and development.
