Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, had during a Tuesday inspection tour, praised the Ogbakiri community in Emohua for their support to Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, contractors for a key road project set to finish by December 2025.

The tour covered two projects: the 19.7-kilometer Buguma–Abalama–Tema–Degema–Abonnema Road with seven bridges in Kalabari Kingdom, and the 9.7-kilometer Emohua–Ogbakiri–Egbelu Road, linking six communities to the East–West Road.

Fubara also highlighted the Emohua road’s importance to his “Rivers First” agenda and assured residents of its timely completion. He was joined by Emohua Chairman Dr. Chidi Lloyd and Julius Berger representatives.
