FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Heartland FC, preventing the club from registering new players for three transfer windows. The ban was enforced due to Heartland’s failure to settle outstanding payments to former player N’Goran Roland Adjourmani Koffi, who played for them during the 2023-24 NPFL season.

FIFA’s letter states the ban will only be lifted once the full payment is made. This follows previous orders from Nigeria’s Players’ Status and Arbitration Committee, which mandated Heartland to pay several former players their owed entitlements.
