Rainforest Basketball League has kicked off its South-East phase in Imo State. The tournament, featuring nine teams, is currently taking place at the Dan Anyiam Indoor Basketball Hall. In the opening games, Abia defeated Ebonyi, while Akwa Ibom triumphed over Bayelsa.
Speaking with our reporter, the Chairman and Convener of Imo State Basketball ASSOCIATION KELECHI ANOISKE stated that the league’s next phase will resume next year and will evolve beyond a zonal competition.
