Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has encouraged young Nigerians to pursue military careers, emphasizing discipline, patriotism, and service. During a public event at Idris Koko Technical College in Sokoto, organized by the Nigerian Army, he highlighted the Army’s role in nation-building and youth development.
The event included talks on avoiding crime, cultism, and the Army’s community services, such as medical outreach and water projects.
While representatives from the education sector praised the Army’s efforts to inspire students and prepare them for the future, the event was interactive, attracting students, teachers, Army personnel, and officials.
