Abia State Government has announced that Turkish investors attending the forthcoming Abia–Turkey Investment Summit are interested in various sectors such as agriculture, textiles, furniture, manufacturing, renewable energy, and construction.
About 40 investors are expected to participate, with investments potentially running into billions of naira. The summit, scheduled for late November in Umuahia, aims to foster business opportunities, strengthen bilateral relations, and promote trade between Turkey, Abia, and Nigeria.
The initiative also emphasizes reviving dormant local industries through technology transfer and strategic partnerships with SMEs.
