The meeting aims to address issues related to insurgency and terrorism, with both leaders expressing a shared commitment to combating these threats.
Before now, Trump had previously threatened military action against Nigeria over anti-Christian violence and announced plans to include Nigeria in the U.S. list of countries with significant religious persecution.
