While Sunday’s draw pitted holders Stuttgart against second-tier Bochum, two-time winners RB Leipzig will play Bundesliga 2 side Magdeburg.
Additionally, Borussia Mönchengladbach will play at home against St. Pauli, and Hamburg will host Holstein Kiel. While Bayern, record 20-time cup winners, have not advanced beyond the quarter-finals since their last victory in 2020, every match has been scheduled for December 2-3.
