Report disclose Anthony Joshua is on track to make a comeback in early 2026, with plans for a potentially blockbuster fight next summer.

Following his loss to Daniel Dubois last September, Joshua suffered a persistent elbow injury that required surgery, keeping him out of action. He has now resumed training and is expected to return around January or early February. His initial return will likely be a tune-up bout against a top-15 heavyweight to prepare for bigger fights.

While tbe ultimate goal remains a high-profile showdown with Tyson Fury, a clash that has long eluded Joshua. Promoter Eddie Hearn has told Sky Sports, that fight has to happen in 2026 from a common-sense perspective.
