Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) effective immediately.
In a letter dated July 14, 2025, addressed to the Chairman of the PDP at Jada 1 Ward, Jada Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State, Atiku explained that his resignation stems from irreconcilable differences within the party.
He expressed concern that the party’s current trajectory no longer aligns with the foundational principles it once upheld.
