Team Brazil has secured their first victory in the all-electric powerboat series by winning the inaugural E1 Lagos GP in Nigeria, marking Africa’s first hosting of the event. Leveraging their pole position and strong performance throughout the race weekend, they finished ahead of Team Blue Rising and Team Drogba Global Africa.
The win earned them 38 points, bringing their total to 89, but they remain seventh in the championship standings ahead of the final race in Miami next month.
Despite finishing fourth in Lagos, Team Brady retains the top spot with 154 points, with Team Rafa close behind in second. Blue Rising, owned by Virat Kohli, is third with 145 points.
Lagos’s hosting of the race highlights Nigeria’s commitment to innovation and clean energy, with Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu emphasizing the event’s significance for environmental responsibility and global recognition.
