Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer   has ulaunched a TikTok account on Monday to connect with younger voters, despite the app being banned on government devices over security concerns.

A spokesman said “security mitigations” were in place, and Starmer’s first videos featured the Downing Street Christmas lights ceremony and meetings with Ukraine’s President Zelensky, France’s Macron, and Germany’s Merz. The move follows his recent launch of a Substack newsletter and reflects efforts to engage directly with the public amid low popularity ratings.

TikTok remains one of the world’s most widely used social media platforms, and Starmer joins other global leaders like Macron, Trump, and Albanese on the app.
