2023 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, has accused a faction of the party led by former Senate President David Mark of being deliberately structured to ensure that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar becomes the party’s presidential candidate in 2027.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja today, Thursday, Kachikwu revealed that during a meeting, the faction expressed that their primary goal was to reclaim political power.

He further challenged the coalition leaders to prove him wrong by publicly declaring that the 2027 presidential ticket would be zoned to the South.

Explaining further Kachikwu stated the coalition was engineered and designed to produce Atiku Abubakar as the standard flag bearer.
