Governor Umo Eno has defended the welfare of his Personal Assistants (PAs), stating they earn at least ₦1 million monthly, dismissing claims of poor pay as “mischief” during a constituency engagement in Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency.
He praised PA Blessed Essien for funding a community borehole project with his earnings, promoting him to Special Assistant on Public Works.
Eno also announced plans to publish a list of all political appointees and their local government areas in newspapers to promote transparency and accountability, urging constituents to hold them responsible for community development.
