Federal government has launched the Diaspora BRIDGE Platform, a digital initiative to connect Nigerian professionals abroad with local tertiary institutions for collaboration in research, teaching, and innovation in STEM-M fields.
As Part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the platform allows diaspora professionals to register, upload credentials, and indicate collaboration interests, while institutions identify gaps and request partnerships. Features include virtual seminars, e-learning, collaboration tracking, and project monitoring via integration with TERAS.
Additionally, Vice President Kashim Shettima, represented by Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, emphasized the platform’s role in rebuilding trust and reversing fragmented diaspora engagement.
