Price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has increased from N230 to N450 per standard cubic metre due to reduced subsidies and limited refilling stations, leading to long queues.
While trucks are now paying N450, car and commercial drivers still pay N380, benefiting from government subsidies. The Presidential CNG Initiative aims to make more refueling stations available nationwide to improve gas access and reduce long wait times, with a focus on increasing the number of stations to support vehicle owners who have converted to CNG.
