Former world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker has denied taking any banned substance after testing positive for cocaine in a VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) test conducted on 25 October — the same day he lost to Fabio Wardley at London’s O2 Arena. Sources revealed the positive result was for a recreational drug, not a performance enhancer.
Parker said on Instagram that the result came as a “surprise,” insisting he does not use prohibited substances and is fully cooperating with the investigation. He expressed confidence that the process will clear his name.
