Governor Hope Uzodimma has called for a change in attitude among Nigerians as the country approaches its 65th Independence Anniversary.
He noted this on Sunday, September 28, 2025 during the 65th Independence Anniversary Inter-denominational Thanksgiving Service held at the Government House Chapel Owerri.
While he emphasized the importance of reviewing the nation’s past, focusing on utilizing natural resources for economic recovery, and moving forward without dwelling on the past, Uzodimma further highlighted the need for productivity and hard work, stating that Nigeria’s resources should be harnessed for the country’s progress.
He also announced a visit by President Bola Tinubu to Imo on September 30, 2025, to inaugurate key projects, urging residents to welcome the President warmly.
