Hamas has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of endangering Israeli hostages in Gaza by pursuing expanded military operations, driven by personal and extremist motives.
In the meantime, Netanyahu’s security cabinet is considering a full military occupation of Gaza, with plans to take control but not govern long-term, instead transferring civilian administration to Arab forces.
This however, has raised concerns among hostage families and opposition leaders about the safety of remaining hostages and worsening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.
