Nigeria Football Federation official has confirmed that Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will soon receive his overdue three months’ salaries and bonuses ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Chelle, who led Nigeria to the World Cup playoff, has not yet officially complained about the non-payment. However, the Nigeria Football Federation NFF stated that the payment is in process, awaiting funding, and has previously paid him in advance.
While Chelle’s appointment in January marked his third major tournament with Nigeria, his team is set to compete in Group C alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
