Hundreds of protesters have marched through Tunis, expressing solidarity with Palestinians amid growing concern over Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. They waved flags, carried signs, and chanted against the Israeli blockade and Arab governments’ silence, with one symbolically tapping an empty cooking pot to highlight Gaza’s food scarcity.
These Demonstrators have condemned regional leaders, calling for stronger action and voicing anger at perceived complicity, including criticism of Egyptian President Sissi.
The march included singing the Tunisian national anthem and featured prominent opposition leader Ahmed Nejib Chebbi. The protest also displayed pro-Gaza graffiti, reflecting widespread support and resistance.
