Kenya is implementing strict measures to reduce alcohol consumption, with The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse NACADA banning alcohol sales in ten types of locations, including online platforms, home deliveries, petrol stations, and outlets linked to children.

Additionally, the legal drinking age has increased from 18 to 21, and anyone under 21 is barred from entering alcohol-selling premises.

These changes signify a significant shift in Kenya’s efforts to regulate alcohol and promote public health.
