Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has inaugurated a 1,200-capacity auditorium named Bola Tinubu Hall at Abalti Army Barracks in Surulere, Lagos. The facility, equipped with modern amenities like air-conditioning and an 80 kVA generator, aims to support military training, conferences, and revenue generation.
Gbajabiamila emphasized the military’s critical role in Nigeria’s democracy and security, highlighting their often-overlooked contributions to internal stability. He expressed President Tinubu’s commitment to military welfare and announced plans for future projects, including replacing old bungalows with multi-storey residential buildings.
The event underscored the importance of integrating military welfare into the “dividends of democracy,” with local leaders and military officials praising Gbajabiamila’s contributions to the barracks and Surulere’s development.
