Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s Tennis Association WTA Canadian Open with a commanding 6-2, 6-2 victory over 10th seed Elina Svitolina.
The match lasted just 68 minutes, and Osaka is now vying for her first WTA Tour title since the 2021 Australian Open. She will face Danish 16th seed Clara Tauson in the semi-finals after Tauson upset reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys 6-1, 6-4.
