Remo Stars  has advanced to the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League after defeating Comoros champions US Zilimadjou 1–0 in Abeokuta on Friday, sealing a 5–0 aggregate win.

With a 4–0 first-leg cushion, Remo controlled the return fixture, staying compact and disciplined before Alex Oyowah converted a penalty in the 74th minute. The Nigerian champions will now face South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in October, a major test of their continental credentials.
