Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reaffirmed his commitment to serve a four-year term if elected in 2027.

In a statement, he emphasized that his vow is sacrosanct and cited examples like John F. Kennedy and Nelson Mandela, who chose to serve just one term to prioritize public service over power.

Obi noted that his stance is a deliberate act of leadership, inspired by these global icons.
