President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria’s former heads of state are expected to gather in Daura today to lay former President Muhammadu Buhari to rest according to Islamic tradition.
Presidency officials confirmed that Buhari’s body would arrive in Nigeria early today morning being Monday and be flown to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, for burial.
The funeral is also scheduled for Monday today with the body expected to be brought in overnight for the burial.
