President Bola Tinubu has affirmed his administration’s commitment to reducing inflation and ensuring economic stability through fiscal discipline, transparency, and citizen participation.

Speaking at the three-day National Conference on Fiscal Governance in Abuja, he emphasized strengthening financial systems, supporting the Office of the Auditor-General, improving procurement transparency, and expanding digital finance tools.

Tinubu further highlighted the need to address structural issues in food production and supply chains and to cut wasteful spending, underscoring that oversight is a patriotic duty. He additionally called on civil society, the media, and Nigerians to hold the government accountable.
