United State President, Donald Trump has arrived in Japan as part of his Asia tour, amid hopes of a breakthrough in the US-China trade war.

He has expressed optimism about reaching a deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their upcoming meeting and indicated he might extend his trip to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Trump praised Xi and Japan’s Prime Minister-elect Sanae Takaichi, as he highlighted ongoing trade agreements in Southeast Asia. His visit also included meetings with Japanese officials and plans to discuss defense spending and trade, including importing more American products.
