Nigeria’s Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu, has emphasized that his team will not take the return leg against Benin Republic for granted, despite winning the first match 2-0.
With the team aiming to secure qualification for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and the 2027 World Cup, Madugu warned that Benin has quality players, including several abroad, who could cause problems if underestimated.
The match will be held in Abeokuta, with a likely unchanged lineup, and the team is focused on maintaining their dominance in African women’s football and building momentum for future tournaments.
