Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has expressed frustration over the delayed payment of promised allowances and bonuses, including the $100,000 reward announced by President Bola Tinubu for their Africa Cup of Nations victory.

Despite assurances that funds had been allocated, Ajibade revealed that players have yet to receive any payments, including match bonuses, which is affecting morale.

She also shared her challenging background, having played for FC Robo Queens without pay for ten years and growing up in Mushin, Lagos, where she had to do menial jobs to survive. Ajibade highlighted her journey from local football to playing professionally in Norway and Spain.
