Report says at least 16 inmates have escaped from the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State, during a security breach in the early hours of yesterday , Tuesday the 12th of August 2025. According to the Nigerian Correctional Service via a statement, the inmates overpowered the staff to facilitate their escape.
