Victor Osimhen has become the first Nigerian player to score double figures in the UEFA Champions League (excluding qualifiers), reaching 10 goals in the competition.
The 26-year-old scored a penalty for Galatasaray in their match against Liverpool, marking his first full start since returning from an ankle injury. His goal helped him surpass Obafemi Martins, who has nine goals, while other Nigerian legends like Kanu, Nwankwo Kanu, Victor Ikpeba, and Yakubu Aiyegbeni have five goals each.
