Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, has died at age 71 following a cardiac arrest at his Florida home.
Despite recent health concerns, his wife Sky had previously stated his heart was strong. Hogan was a pivotal figure in professional wrestling, known for popularizing the sport as family-friendly entertainment.
Recall he debuted in 1977, rose to fame in the 1980s with WWF (now WWE), and was a six-time WWF Champion. His career also included a notable heel turn as “Hollywood Hogan” in WCW, and he was twice inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Additionally, outside wrestling, Hogan appeared in films such as Rocky III and No Holds Barred.
In the meantime, WWE has expressed its condolences, recognizing Hogan as a key global ambassador for wrestling.
