The Nigeria Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has introduced a contactless biometric system for issuing driver’s licenses, marking a move toward digitalization in vehicle administration.
According to Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, FRSC has concurrently launched its 2025 Ember Months Road Safety Campaign in Abuja, themed “Tech Responsibility for Your Safety: Stop Distracted Driving,” focusing on reducing road accidents during the festive season from December 15 to January 15.
