President of Dangote Industries, Aliko Dangote, has assured Nigerians of sufficient petrol supply during the festive season, despite recent global oil price increases.
This is coming after he announced the expansion of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery from 650,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day, emphasizing that fuel prices will not rise during the ember months.
Dangote also highlighted that Nigeria’s petrol prices remain among the lowest in the region, and the upgraded refinery has improved fuel quality, stabilized supply, and helped strengthen the naira. He further praised government support and urged other investors to develop refineries, reinforcing Nigeria’s potential as Africa’s refining hub and promoting economic growth across the continent.
