Anambra State Government has suspended the head teacher of Community Primary School, Umunze, in Orumba South LGA, for allowing a political rally to take place on the school premises.
Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, said the action violated a government directive banning political, social, and religious gatherings in schools. She condemned the disruption of classes and the safety risks to pupils, adding that legal action would be taken against the rally’s organisers.
